Quick Overview
    The X-LOCK Type 27 General Purpose Abrasive Grinding Wheels are ideal for general grinding of ferrous metals, including alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and wrought iron. These wheels are constructed of high-quality aluminum oxide abrasive grains for increased performance and added durability. The X-LOCK quick change system provides up to 5x faster wheel changes vs. a standard angle grinder mount. Simply pull the release lever on the X-LOCK Angle Grinder and change the wire cup brush— no tools needed. These wheels are designed to be used with Makita X-LOCK Angle Grinders (XAG25, XAG26, and GA4570 – sold separately) or any angle grinder with a 7/8” arbor.

    • X-LOCK quick change system allows for easy tool-free wheel changes by simply pulling the release lever on the X-LOCK grinder
    • Premium, high purity white aluminum oxide construction reinforced with a resinoid bond for superior grinding and cutting performance and longer life compared to standard aluminum oxide construction
    • Type 27 depressed center design for aggressive grinding on the face of the wheel
    • Grinding wheel with a coarse 36 grit
    • For use on ferrous metals including stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and wrought iron
    • For use with Makita X-LOCK Angle Grinder models XAG25, XAG26, GA4570 and angle grinders with a 7/8" arbor
